Your safety is our utmost priority!

For your safety and ours we use full personal protective equipment including masks specific for each appointment type including KN-95 and N-95 masks, face shields, goggles, lab coats and gowns. 

​

We've implemented a number of changes to the office's layout with distancing measures in mind, as well as adding the IQ Air Health Pro Plus HEPA air filtration systems throughout the office.

​

For procedures that involve air and water spray, we have added the Healthy Air Source Capture HEPA machine, fondly known as the "elephant."

​

Surfaces are sprayed first with soapy water and then with the FDA approved sanitizing wipes.  In addition, a UV light sterilizer is also used for smaller items.

When you arrive for your next appointment, we’ll have a new routine for you:

​

• We will communicate with you before your appointment to do a short screening for COVID-19.

• Please call us from your car to let us know that you have arrived and wear your mask. There will be a temperature check with our "no touch" infrared thermometer.

• You will be escorted to the brushing station to brush your teeth and use a hydrogen peroxide rinse, and then taken to your seat.

 

We are taking guidance from the state of California, California Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. It is a dynamic process, so heads up, things may change in the future.
